At Houston Hobby stands the original airport terminal. This was when the airport was Houston Municipal Airport, before the days of Howard Hughes, and Braniff Airlines. The building is a, once beautiful Art Deco, built as part of FDR's New Deal. There is some work to do on it, and has seen better days, but if you close yours eyes you can still feel, and hear the golden age of aviation going on around you.
There are very few things i miss about Florida, Walt Dinsey World, the beach, and Key West are probably the only things. This morning i was looking at some of the shots i took when we went down th Key West. I would love to go again now that I have a better camera, and more knowledge in Photography. Heck I'd go just to relax, I think Jason needs a vacation.
I'm not saying we don't love Texas, but we both wish we had been able to get down to the Keys one last time before we moved.
I'm testing out VOX for blogging. we will see how I like it. for a while I'll post on both blogs.
